Devamp Pokemon

Hi, i think it would be a good idea for some of the more experienced spriters to post some of there work for the more unexperienced ones, so they can see how things are done. for example, devamping a mudkip into G/S/C. this could really help alot of people and i posted something like this on twilight hacking but i have no idea what happened to that website.

Also not sure if this is the right section for this topic so sorry if it is in the wrong

Twilight Hacking has been out for a half year or so now.

Mr. Magius made a new one to replace the alternate Tw.H. but nobody really joined there...

I devamped some 3rd&4th gen sprites, but i made them to fit 1st gen, so their palette is just one color and not two different (for example i think that mudkip for 2nd gen would be lightblue and orange, while mudkip for 1st gen would be only blue).

Here are some of the one I made for a pkmn blue hack I'm working on (I'm planning to add new pokemon so I devamped them)..






Devamping is pretty fun. If someone needs devamps (for both 1st/2nd gen) I can help, because now I'm on vacation (I gave tha last exam of the season today!!).

Here are a few I've done.











Glaceon is the same size he was in D/P, as is Mudkip for the most part, he was slightly shrunk to fit in 40x40 pixels. Rotom is actually redrawn from scratch to be the right size, and Swampert is resized more heavily than mudkip to fit in 56x56 pixels.

mateo i remember you making all the mudkip evolutions and rotom front and back pics, (i posted them on pokecommunity remember, i was celebiking123, but thats past hacking) have you still got these, begins could really make use of these

I believe I've also played that hack. It was Treecko that you could choose, correct? I don't remember the name of that hack, but it was rather fun, even though it was very short.

Well, I originally shrunk this down to 64 x 64 for the GBA hack I'm doing; but, figured it could use a GSC devamp:



Wargle, from Black and White.

Personally it's my favorite 5th generation Pokémon so far.

The Pallete: Blue came from Lugia, the Red from Ho-Oh.

Feel free to make changes if you want. I've indexed it so it's only the 4 colors allowed. So, when you save it as a .bmp it's easy insertion.

Kibago, the tusk Pokémon. This was a lot easier to devamp than Wargle. Wargle I had to clean up the sprite since it wasn't still 100 % easy to edit.

Kibago's Pallete: Green from Larvitar, Red/Orange from Cyndaquil's fire.

It's an awesome idea.
Plus, it's a way for people who don't hack GSC to help with some part of it.

Another sprite, this is an interesting one. I went and devamped a sprite that's from a Remake of these very games. Gold's HG/SS in GSC style:



The pallete obviously comes from the original sprite.

This is very nice, maybe we can work on a trainer back sprite (inbattle) from HS/SS, it would be very nice
