Update !

I haven't even begun doing Beta 3 yet as I've been making a lot of changes to the alternate release (beta 2). There will be new moves, new evolution levels, text fixes, and a few other effects to the gameplay. Also, I've uploaded some videos to youtube what I've been doing with the hack.

Here is a video of the changes to Squirtle's evolutions & moves.
(I've made sure that the pokemon that opponents use always have moves)

Recently, yeah, it kinda is. The rest of us are either busy or things. But hey, good to see a hack being updated and worked on regularly.

Miksy is a very productive guy. He puts a lot of work and heart into his hacks which is what makes them such a joy to play. Even better is watching his skill evolving throughout his hacks to being far more creative and expansive.

I'm trying to learn more and more all the time.
If I make another hack after this one, it will either be of Gold/Silver or Yellow (or of some Final Fantasy game like 3/4/5. I did a little research on them but there are like no tutorials at all and I couldn't even find a table file for any of them. So, I'm probably not going to hack those...).

Yellow would be nice to be hacked as there are no real hacks of it anywhere. But I don't really feel like searching for event datas for every single map either.

Somewhere I had a hacked version of goldmap that can load the maps from Yellow (since not all are in the same place as red) which if you don't have already would give you a hand if you wanted to do yellow.

I've pikamap 1.1 (not sure if that's the one you're talking about)

Well the one I had was one that Mew3 and I worked on back in the day called Yellow Macker (Map + Hacker = Macker). Pikamap is probably very similar though.

The most legit thing would probably be a hack of Pokemap so it could load events as well. I'll look into that.
