well, do not know if the topic is in correct place...but if is not, move this here are patches that can help in the building a pokemon red hack Patch versions of Us: -Pokemon Red with yellow sprites (by me/Iron Nidow) all sprites are changed to yellow version download-Pokemon Red dark steel types (by koolboyman) dark and steel moves are inclued download(check attachment) Attachments:

I heard that red-steel-dark-types used to have a sort of trouble (don't remember exactly what kind of problem), even though i never checked it. Do you know if it's solved in the patch you have posted?

I remember there being a bug. I made my own version of that patch one time that fixed it. Basically it was an oversight in copying the type strength/weakness table.
in GSC, it used the byte FE as a marker to say "types after this are cancelled by Foresight", but in RBY, that byte is not defined, so it reads as the start of a new type matchup and throws things off, which ends up making accidental entries making normal type unable to hit some types and things like that. That's the only problem I remember with it. I'll look and see if I still have my version lying around somewhere.

The bug that I remember, is that the weak normal type moves (pound, double slap...) can not affect poisonous types, I not know another bug from this patch
mateo you could give me the link for your patch fixed?

I don't see a change in the Pokemon sprites after applying the Yellow sprite patch.

I tested it on several roms and it worked perfectly!
you are applying the patch correctly?
post an image or send the rom that you are applying the patch.
