I've actually had this sitting around for a few months, but it was in Delphi instead of Free Pascal. This Wild Pokemon editor allows you to easily change wild Pokemon that the player would encounter. It works for both land encounters and surfing encounters. This will also work if you repoint the data, as it follows the pointer table at $CEEB in the ROM. It does not do any repointing of its own. This program is able to be compiled on any OS that can run Lazarus. Included is the Windows executable, for any other OS you will have to compile it yourself. The source is included in the zip. Thanks! I'm going to try it right away on my Linux installation. EDIT: Excellent, its working on Ubuntu 9.10: I might see if I can package it.

Ah crap, the Encounter Chance column doesn't look like it should on Linux, and the trackbar also looks weird. I don't know what I could do about either other than eliminating them.
Let me know if you come across any bugs.

If it's only a cosmetic difference, as it appears to be, I doubt it will be a problem

Great program! I hope you continue to make more programs like these, but possibly for the Second Generation! Keep up the good work.

It only took 5 months, but I've finally got around to updating it to work with Yellow version. Unless I get an amazing idea on how to redo the interface, I probably won't update it anymore. Though the encounter chance column doesn't line up in Windows 7 anymore, I might just remove it.
Anyways the link in the first post has been updated. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
Also, since I can't find it anywhere, the Yellow Wild Pokemon Pointer table starts at $CB95, and the data itself starts at $CD89.

You finished it, nice job (I always thought wild pokemon data for one route contained only 14 bytes...)

While I'm working on the GSC version, I was wondering if I should update this one to use the new layout (With tabs instead of being wide like it is). What do you guys think?
I also have an idea on how to make the list of Pokémon in numerical order instead of hex order.
I'm also thinking of combining the Pokemon and Level boxes since you can't scroll the level one. I was thinking "Pokemon - Lv. XX". What do you guys think of that?

Numerical order would be much more user-friendly. I don't think more has to be done however.

Updated to put the Pokémon in numerical order, and slight changes to the Pokémon and level boxes.
